Obituary

Jeffery Lee Brockhaus, 46, of Little Turkey Lake, LaGrange died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 10:10 p.m. in his residence. He had been ill for four years.

Mr. Brockhaus had owned and operated a tree trimming service in LaGrange County.

He was born June 19, 1963, in Fort Wayne to William and Betty (Scott) Brockhaus.

Surviving are his mother, Betty Kuhn of LaGrange; a son, Willie Brockhaus; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorie & Gary Combs of Helmer; four brothers, Michael Brockhaus of LaGrange, Mark Brockhaus of Fort Wayne, Mickey Brockhaus of Auburn, and Philip Brockhaus of LaGrange; and his grandmother, Charlotte Scott of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Brockhaus; his grandfather, Leon Scott; his grandparents, Marcella & Edward Brockhaus; and his stepfather, James Kuhn.

Graveside services will be Monday, March 15, 2010, at 1 p.m. in Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with Rev. James Elsner of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Stroh, officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
