Obituary

Jayne Alice (Young) Clouse, 89, of Albion died Wednesday, August 11, 2010, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Clouse was a lifetime area resident, and a homemaker. She was a member and the church organist for over 70 years at Burr Oak Baptist Church. She was a member of Gideons International Auxiliary for 59 years. She was a member of Charter Oak Community Church in Green Township.

She was born June 13, 1921 in Burr Oak, Indiana, to Marshall and Frances (Stout) Young. She married William Guy "Billy" Clouse on November 22, 1939 in Wolf Lake

She is survived by her husband of 71 years; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane Lynn and Jerry Lelle of Carmel and Susan Young Kirkpatrick of Jonesboro; one sister, Frances Stangland of Albion; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Glenn Young, Max Young, and Goss Young; and a sister, Lois Roettger.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in Charter Oak Community Church, 4899 S 300 E, Churubusco with Rev. Aaron Peer and Dr. Mark Soto officiating. Burial will be in the Merriam Chapel Cemetery in Merriam.

Honorary casketbearers will be her great grandsons, Sean Kirkpatrick, Joseph Kirkpatrick, Graham Lelle, Jackson Dougherty, Elliot Omohundro, Watson Omohundro, and Griffin Buckner. Active casketbearers will be her grandsons, Lindley Kirkpatrick, Shane Kirkpatrick, Nathan Lelle, Greg Dougherty, Ted Omohundro, and Chris Buckner.

Calling will be Friday, August 13, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to Gideons International.
