Obituary

Jason Starrett, 40, of Wolcottville passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his residence.

He was born October 20, 1978, in Fort Myers, Florida, to Dennis Starrett and Marge (Shaffer) Wilkinson.

An electrician by trade, when younger he toured with many bands, including Ozzie Osbourne, setting up the lights. He excelled at car stereo systems and was recognized in a magazine for design.

He loved being home, playing video games, and spending time with his much loved pets, dogs Bane and Cypher and cats Jr. and Sissy.

Surviving are his mother, Marge Wilkinson of Florida; special friend, Jenny Prater of Wolcottville; three brothers, Justin (Melody) Frazin of Burr Oak, Michigan, Joel (Leeann) Starrett of Cape Coral, Florida, and John Raska of Millersburg; two nieces, Kelsey and Katie; and a nephew, Johnny.

Visitation is Saturday, December 1, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. There will be no funeral service.

In lieu of monetary donations, the family requests that you reach out to someone you haven't heard from in a while and let them know you care.
