James E. Tucker, 68, of Rome City, Indiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 7, 1956, in LaGrange, Indiana to Ernest G. and Mary Lou (Nicodemus) Tucker. They preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Nila (Pierce) Tucker of Rome City; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Zackery and Cathy Tucker of Albion and Joshua Tucker of Rome City; five grandchildren, Ethan, Ayden, Jami, JJ, and Dillon; twelve great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Pam, Tammy, Penny, and Becky.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Nicodemus and Charlie Fulford.

There will be no funeral services or visitation.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
