Obituary

James B. Perkins, 48, of Wolcottville died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, in his residence.

He was born November 24, 1960, in Noble County to Arnold and Joan (North) Perkins.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Joan & Edward Subzda of Rome City; his father, Arnold Perkins of Wolcottville; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Griffiths of Elkhart, Loni and Jamey Owens of LaGrange, and Boni Perkins of Albion; eight grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Ronald Tuttle of Angola, three step sisters, Nicole Miller of Wolcottville, Kathy Honaker of Wolcottville, and Deb Brockman of Kendallville; and 2 step brothers, Brett Honaker of Wolcottville and Tracy Honaker of Wolcottville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Perkins and a step brother, Shane Honaker.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 25, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Rome City United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike McKinney, Rev. Jamey Owens, and Rev. Dr. Harold North officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Calling is from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
