Obituary

James R. Miller, 42, of Wolcottville died Thursday, August 9, 2018, at his residence.

He was born July 24, 1976, in West Liberty, Kentucky, to Thomas Joseph and Shelia R. (Ritchie) Miller. They survive in Wolcottville.

At the age of 11, his family moved to this area from Kentucky.

James enjoyed listening to country music and playing on his Xbox. He was a fan of NASCAR and Tiger Woods golf.

Also surviving are two sisters, Angel (Robbie) Williams of Rome City and Margaret (Larry Polly, Jr.) Jordan of Wolcottville; and a brother, Thomas (Monica Healy) Miller, Jr. of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Cyril Ritchie and Jean Ritchie; and paternal grandparents, Crit Miller and Margaret Miller.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 East Highway 6, Kendallville with Pastor Shawn Shepherd and Pastor Ron Bell officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Calling is Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the church with an evening service at 7 p.m. Calling will also be one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
