Obituary

James E. Conley, 88, of LaGrange died Monday, September 10, 2018, at Life Care Center in LaGrange.

He was born July 18, 1930, in Kentucky to Ashford and Della (Gibson) Conley.

Mr. Conley served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Conley; three sisters, Grace Smith, Katherine Fugate, and Belle Conley; five brothers, Eddie Conley, Denver Conley, Willard Conley, Ashford Conley, and Herbert Conley.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Billy Fields of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church in Wolcottville officiating.

Honor guard services will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard and active duty members of the U.S. Army.

Calling will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
