Obituary

James Edward Conley, 80, of Kendallville died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at his residence.

He was born June 21, 1940, in Perry County, Kentucky, to Pearl and Inez (Ritchie) Conley.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Conley had worked at area foundries in Kendallville and Auburn and retired from Starcraft in Goshen.

Surviving are three daughters, Kimberly Conley of South Carolina, Tamera "Tiny" Conley of South Carolina, and Kristy Reynolds of Springfield, Ohio; three grandchildren, Devin "Rudy" Reynolds, Connor Reynolds, and Trevor Reynolds all of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Mary (Emory) Gibson of Kendallville; a brother, Eugene (Rose) Conley of Wolcottville; a special nephew and his caregiver, William "Jr." Conley of LaGrange; and close friend, Debbie Reynolds of Springfield, Ohio; and numerous nieces.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William "Billy" Conley, Sr.

There will be no local visitation or services.

Burial will be in Combs Cemetery in Knott County, Kentucky.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
