Jack Kippie "Kip" Keiser, 60, of Rome City died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. in his residence with his family at his side.
He grew up in Antwerp, Ohio, and in 1979 moved to Rome City.
Mr. Keiser had worked at Group Dekko from 1979 to 1992. Since 1992, he has been a truck driver for USF Holland in Fort Wayne.
He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion Post #381 in Rome City.
Kip enjoyed fast cars, Harley's, and hunting. He truly loved driving truck and greatly appreciated and cherished the friendships he formed over the years while driving truck for USF Holland. Kip wanted everyone to know he lived life to the fullest and had no regrets.
He was born March 5, 1955, in Huntington to Jack L. and Phyllis J. (Hunnicutt) Keiser.
Surviving are his wife, Cathy L. (Bloomfield) Keiser of Rome City; a daughter, Ashley (Kyle) Bradley of LaGrange; a son, Jack L. (Courtney Miller) Keiser, II of Kendallville; a stepdaughter, Traci (Jeff) Jordan of LaGrange; two stepsons, Kerry Miller of Rome City and Scott Miller of Rome City; a grandson, Collin Keiser; 18 step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren; his mother, Phyllis J. Snyder of Cecil Ohio; his father, Jack L. (Jeanne) Keiser of Clearwater, Florida; a sister, Genia (Dennis) Rager of Antwerp, Ohio; a brother, James L. (Judy) Keiser of Arlington, Ohio; and a half-sister, Tammy (Ben) Reust of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily Jordan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Rome City.
Preferred memorials are to the family.
