Obituary

Irene Summers, 71, of Auburn died Monday, November 6, 2017, at 4:15 p.m. in DeKalb Health Hospital in Auburn.

She was born June 13, 1946, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Chick and Bertha (Handshoe) Conley.

Ms. Summers retired after 35 years at Messenger in Auburn.

Surviving are a son, Rick (Josie) Anglin of San Bernadino, California; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline (Stuart) Piner of Wilmington, North Carolina; and two brothers, Harold Conley of Angola and Darrell Conley of Stroh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Anglin; and a sister, Colleen Collins.

Private graveside services will be at Lake View Cemetery Kendallville.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
