Obituary

Irene Moore, 77, of Ligonier died Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 2:12 a.m. at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

She was born March 21, 1941, in Garrett, Kentucky, to Ferris Moore and Ellen (Allen) Moore Davis.

Mrs. Moore had worked at Carriage in Millersburg, Forest River in Goshen, and retired from WalMart in Goshen.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle L. (Jody) Jones of Dahlonega, Georgia; three sons, Dusty J. (Cathleen) Petre of Ligonier, Brian K. Petre of Angola, and Kevin (Jessica) Petre of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Fairlena Napier of Hudson, Dorothy M. Mynhier of Stroh, Kitty (Millard) Neace of Stroh, Shirley Swank of Wolcottville, and Wilma L. Hutton of Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law, Forest and Sarah Moore.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Five Corners Baptist Church, Wolcottville with Pastor Clarence Combs officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

Calling is Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
