Obituary

Howard "Cotton" Williams, 76, of LaGrange died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in his residence.

He had lived in this area since 1960, coming from Kentucky.

Mr. Williams worked at Starcraft in Goshen for a number of years.

He was born March 4, 1940, in Hardburly, Kentucky, to Bobby and Alma (Browning) Williams.

Surviving are a daughter, Rita Anderson of Middlebury; a son, Gregory Dean Williams of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Tori Anderson, Sadie Anderson, and Charis Owens; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Violet (Ralph) McCoy of Vermont, Laura "Sue" (Jim) Fugate of Wolcottville, and Linda Keck of Rome City; and three brothers, Wilmer "Hank" and Kathy Williams of Rome City, Ivan Williams of Wolcottville, and Greg (Viva) Williams of Wolcottville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Simon Peter Williams.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 E US 6, Kendallville with Pastor Shawn Shepherd officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Greg Williams, Jr., Jackie Williams, Jim Fugate, Rick Williams, Robbie Williams, and Bobby Keck.

Calling is Friday, November 11, 2016 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
