Howard Dean Morr, 64, of Kendallville died Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the home of his daughter in Kendallville.
He was born September 23, 1955, in Kendallville to Marion Dean and Norma Jean (Burch) Morr. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Morr served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1977 and 1979 to 1983. He was a member of the Blackhorse Regiment.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
Howard was a cowboy at heart and rode in many rodeos.
Surviving are two daughters, Erin Morr of Fort Wayne and Elizabeth (David) Morr-Bren of Kendallville; a son Nicholas Morr of Kendallville; four grandchildren, Blake Melton, Saydee Hamilton, Jaide Ransburg, and Ayvri Bren; a sister, Loretta McNamara of Kendallville; and a brother, Theodore Ralph (Fayanne) Morr of Golden Valley, Arizona.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Bolen officiating. Private burial will be at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
A live broadcast of the service will be available for viewing on the Young Family Funeral Home Facebook page Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Honor guard services will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army.
Preferred memorials are to the Disabled American Veterans.
