Funeral services will be Friday, March 13, 2015, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel.
Calling is Thursday, March 12, 2015, from 2 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. *************************************************************************************** Herbert Eugene "Herb" Conley, 82, of Wolcottville died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in his residence.
He lived in this area since 1958, coming from Middletown, Ohio.
He worked at Starcraft in Topeka and the IGA in Wolcottville.
Herb was a member of the Helmer Independent Baptist Church.
He was born March 17, 1932, in Hindman, Kentucky, to Ashford and Della (Gibson) Conley.
On August 19, 1974, in Rome City he married Mary (Begley) Owens. She survives in Wolcottville.
Also surviving are six daughters, Judy Richardson of Cromwell, Karen (Matthew) Pamer of Milford, Janet Conley of Kimmell, Idalee (David) Hughes of Kentucky, Rema Sue (Garrett) Hunter of Kentucky, and Jada Owens of Wolcottville; two sons, Dan (Shelly) Conley of Panama Beach, Florida, and Ray (Brenda) Ritchie of Wolcottville; a son-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Millberg of Albion; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 35 great great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Conley of LaGrange.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Millberg; his parents; three sisters, Grace Smith, Katherine Fugate, and Belle Conley; and four brothers, Eddie Conley, Denver Conley, Willard Conley, and Ashford Conley.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 13, 2015, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Rick Davis of the Helmer Independent Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Tyler, Jeremy Garrison, Trevon Coleman, Darshon Coleman, Jake Griffin, and Heath Smith.
