Obituary

Heather M. Sabelhaus, 37, of LaGrange died Monday, June 14, 2010, at 9:20 p.m. in the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Elkhart.

Ms. Sabelhaus had worked as a residential caretaker for Community Living in Angola. Before moving to LaGrange, she had lived in Kendallville for seven years and Pennsylvania for five years. She was a member of the Five Corners Baptist Church, Wolcottville.

She was born September 20, 1972, in LaGrange to Donald and Deb (Coburn) Sabelhaus.

Surviving are her mother, Deb Williams of LaGrange; her father, Donald Sabelhaus of LaGrange; a sister, Caris.Williams and her friend, Rodney Owens of Wolcottville; a brother, Ike Andrew Sabelhaus and his fiance, Cassidy Mickem of LaGrange; paternal grandmother, Lavern Kolin of LaGrange; and five nephews, Evan Sabelhaus, Owen Sabelhaus, Cameron Owens, Ashton Mickem, and Carson Mickem.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Minnie Coburn; and paternal grandfather, Paul Sabelhaus, Sr.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. in Five Corners Baptist Church, Wolcottville with Pastor Clarence Combs and Pastor Tom Tuttle. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Tom Tuttle, Al Patton, Greg Guthrie, Jackie Williams, Jason Brinkman, and Paul Sabelhaus, Jr.

Calling is Friday, June 18, 2010, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church where there will be an evening service at 6 p.m.
