Obituary

Harriet V. Howe, 83 of Wolcottville died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 6:25 p.m. in her residence.

Mrs. Howe was a homemaker. She loved building puzzles, was an avid reader, and was a loving friend and neighbor.

She was born October 22, 1926 in Scotts, Michigan to Charles and Dorothy M. (Bailey) Sigsby. On April 11, 1960 in Auburn, IN she married Louis J. Howe, he preceded her in death October 6, 2006.

Surviving are four stepdaughters, Garnett Baughman of Auburn, Delores Clay of Butler, Glenna Howe of West Virginia, and Judy Collins of Butler; two stepsons, Charles Howe of Butler, William Howe of Auburn; and several step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a stepdaughter, Marie Howe; and a stepson, Junior Howe.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Clarence Combs officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
