Grant Arnold, Jr., 66, of Kendallville died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at 5:35 p.m. in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Arnold attended Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Wolcottville. He was retired from Reliable Tool and Machine in Kendallville after 34 years of service, and enjoyed fishing.
He was born September 14, 1942, in Logan, West Virginia, to Lenora (Browning) Arnold and Grant Arnold, Sr.
Surviving are two daughters, Crystal Phillips of Kendallville and Katherine Rose Arnold of Greensboro, North Carolina; two sons, Kevin Arnold of Kendallville and James S. Arnold of Kendallville; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Beth Anne, James, Patty, Judy, Jeffery, Joseph, and Willis; three sisters, Judy Manns of Corunna, Geneva Simpson of Corunna, and Charlotte Weller of Albion; and five brothers, Ramoes Arnold of Kendallville, Jeff Arnold of Kendallville, Nick Arnold of Kendallville, Willie Arnold of Stafford, Virginia, and Sonny Belcher of Corunna.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ethel Arnold.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 10 a.m. in Faith Freewill Baptist Church, 321 East Mitchell Street, Kendallville, with Pastor Terry Hinds of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Wolcottville officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
Casketbearers will be Kevin Arnold, Sonny Belcher, Jeff Arnold, Nick Arnold, Ramoes Arnold, and James Arnold.
Calling will be Wednesday, July 15, 2009, after 2 p.m. in Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Kendallville.
