DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS, GRACE'S VISITATION AND SERVICE HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO JULY 24th and 25th ****************************************************************************************************************************************** Grace Patricia Bock, 14, of LaGrange, Indiana, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 2:45 p.m. while in route by EMS to the hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born February 8, 2008, in Auburn, Indiana, to Brian K. Bock and Marisa Carpenter. Grace was looking forward to being a freshman at Westview High School where she was affectionately known as Lady Gaga. She attended Rome City United Methodist Church. Grace instantly brightened up the room everywhere she went. She loved social gatherings and it was easy for her to become the center of attention. She enjoyed music, swimming, and anything to do with water. She loved McDonald's, Disney, unicorns, and anything pink. She recently made a fairy garden and loved to pick flowers, especially dandelions. Grace was also known as the Princess of Wear Haus Designs near LaGrange where her Mom works. Surviving are her mother, Marisa Carpenter of LaGrange; her father and stepmother, Brian and Ronda Bock of Stroh; two sisters, Haley Bock of Waterloo and Arion (Isaac Crittendon) Bock of LaGrange; two brothers, Zachary Adams of Garrett and Max Bock of Garrett; maternal grandparents, Brian and Elaine Mervau of LaGrange; and paternal grandfather, Max Bock of Garrett. She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Patricia Bock. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Rome City United Methodist Church. Grace's funeral service will be Monday, July 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Rome City United Methodist Church, 297 Washington Street, Rome City with Pastor Jerry Burghduff officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City. Pallbearers are Brian Bock, Zachary Adams, Arion Bock, Isaac Crittendon, Charlie Carpenter, and Eric Carpenter.
