Calling: Monday, March 10, 2014 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home *************************************************************************************** Geraldine Anna "Gerry" Stonebraker, 87, of Kendallville died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 12:23 a.m. in the emergency room at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

She had lived in the Corunna area before moving to Kendallville.

Mrs. Stonebraker retired from McCray Memorial Hospital in Kendallville where she worked as a cook for many years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.

She was born January 23, 1927, in Ashley to Otto and Anna (Hasselman) Lehman.

Surviving are two daughters Jo Ann (Fred) Wright of LaGrange and Cathy (Gunther) Asterlin of South bend; a son, Sam (Rosemary) Stonebraker of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Travis (Corrine) Reed and Max (Tamara) Asterlin; two great-grandchildren, Avin and Gavin Reed; a sister, Pearl Gunsenhouser of Fort Wayne; a brother, Martin (Nola) Lehman of Tennessee. She was also blessed to have in her life seven step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Reed; a sister, Virginia Leins; and a brother, Ora Lehman.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Chaplain Mike Wakeland and Vicar Mark Huston of Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna.

Calling is Monday, March 10, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville.
