Geraldine Gannon, 72, of Kendallville, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Kendallville Manor Nursing Home in Kendallville.

She was born February 18, 1954, in LaGrange to Burley and Geraldene “Jewel” (Terry) Wallen.

She married Danny Gannon. He preceded her in death.

Gearldine enjoyed working at the Arc Noble County Foundations in Albion.

She had a lifelong love for Elvis, and nothing meant more to her than her family. One of her favorite stories to share — always with a spark of pride — was the time she bravely rode the Gravitron amusement ride, a memory that never failed to make her smile.

Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Sue Gannon; two sisters, Jody Wallen of Kendallville and Brenda Wallen of Kendallville; and two brothers, Dallas Wallen of Rome City and David (Lori Vosburgh) Wallen of Wolcottville.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Charlene Wallen; and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Wallen, Bobby Wallen, and Donald and Vickie Wallen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
