Calling is Friday, March 27, 2015, from 10 a.m. to noon in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel. ************************************************************************************ Georgia B. Timmis, 73, of Kendallville died Monday, March 23, 2015, in Kendallville Manor Health Care Center, Kendallville with her family at her side.

She had resided in this area for 56 years, coming from West Virginia.

Georgia was a homemaker.

She was a loving grandmother who dearly enjoyed having her grandchildren at her side.

She was born March 4, 1942, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Foye and Irene (Star) Brewster.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly R. (Franklin) Resendiz of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Savannah Resendiz, Cristian Resendiz, Joseph Resendiz, Lacy Franklin, and Tia Harman; and four great-grandchildren, Allyana, Braiden, Zachery, and O'Ryan.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth David Franklin.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 27, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with Pastor Earl Bolen officiating.

Calling is Friday, March 27, 2015, from 10 a.m. to noon in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
