Obituary

Geneva Simpson, 72, of Kendallville died Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Kendallville Manor Nursing and Rehab.

She was born December 23, 1947 in Earling, West Virginia to Grant Arnold, Sr. and Lenora (Browning) Arnold.

On December 18, 1968 in Lisbon she married Jimmy O. Simpson. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1997.

Mrs. Simpson had lived in the area most of her life and was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Hartman of Corunna; a son, Jimmy David Simpson of Stroh; three grandchildren, Katlin Hicks, Wyatt Hicks, and Jesse Hicks; two sisters, Judy (Bud) Manns of Corunna and Charlotte (Don) Weller of Albion; and five brothers, Ramoes (Laura) Arnold of Kendallville, Jeff (Debbie) Arnold of Kendallville, Nick (Kathy) Arnold of Kendallville, Willie Arnold of Stafford, Virginia, and Sonny Belcher of Kendallville.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Arnold, Myrtle Arnold and Ethel Arnold and a brother, Grant Arnold, Jr.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 12, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Noble Home Health and Hospice.
