Geneva Mosley, 78, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Friday, November 7, 2025, at Orchard Pointe Health Campus in Kendallville.
She was born June 25, 1947, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Hillard and Deleary (Waddles) Bryant.
On December 22, 1967, in Clintwood, Virginia, she married Ronald Mosley. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2013.
Geneva devoted much of her life to caring for others, preferring the role of homemaker and extending her nurturing spirit by babysitting for many families throughout our community. Her open door and gentle heart were a blessing to countless children and parents alike.
She attended Community Baptist Church near Wolcottville.
Geneva delighted in the simple joys which included crocheting beautiful pieces and traveling to her favorite destination, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she created treasured memories with family and friends. She also enjoyed collecting cherished items that reflected her taste, personality, and the many chapters of her life. And her grandchildren were her joy in life.
Surviving are two daughters, Carmen (Rodney) Howdyshell of Deer Park, Texas, and Jennifer Mosley of Kendallville; three grandchildren, Lauren (Lee) Vega, Logan (Kylie) Howdyshell, and Lauryl Aleshire; and two brothers, Bill (Bertha) Bryant of Kendallville and Keith (Susan) Bryant of Auburn.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Coburn-Hall; and six brothers, Raymond Bryant, Edgar Bryant, Charles Bryant, Earl Bryant, Fred Bryant, and Sidney Thomas Bryant.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville with Pastor Mike Albaugh officiating.
