Geneva Holliday, 83, of Rome City, Indiana, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at her residence.
She was born April 7, 1937, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Arvil and Maggie (Sizemore) Mullins.
On December 17, 1955, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she married Archie Holliday. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2010.
She was a homemaker and a child care provider for 32 years.
Mrs. Holliday was a faithful member of the Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church in Lisbon.
Geneva loved babysitting, gardening, canning, and attending church. She was an avid Kentucky basketball fan. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Doug (Sarah) Holliday of Kendallville and Todd (April) Holliday of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Pat (Mike) Maberson of Fort Wayne, Tara (Daniel) Hayes of Albion, and Tina (Darris) Campbell of Rome City; 16 grandchildren, Casondra (Jim) Brooks, Amanda (Shane) Fike, Kristopher (Dulce) Maberson, Kortney (Chris) Harms, Alivya McAllister, Pace Agee, Jazlyn Carteaux, Rhenn Holliday, Rhya Holliday, Birtukan Holliday, Raelyn Holliday, Kaitlynn Campbell, Kody Campbell, Tessa Hayes, Emma Hayes, and Bryonna Hayes; ten great-grandchildren, Lane Reed, Ava Pilon, Eli Pilon, Athena Fike, Ethan Fike, Addison Fike, Mya Maberson, Kamilia Maberson, Avarie Barrienties, and Mason Harms ; a brother, Lewis (Judy) Mullins of Columbia City; and a sister, Dorothy Hardin of Kendallville.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Mullins and Hargus Mullins; and two sisters, Louise Madden and Shelby Roark.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 E. US 6, Kendallville with Pastor Shawn Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Pallbearers are Pace Agee, Kody Campbell, Daniel Hayes, Darris Campbell, Ethan Fike, Chris Harms, Eli Pilon, and Lane Reed.
Visitation is Monday, February 1, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Per the Governor, face masks are required.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church.
