Gary Edward "Eddie" Keck, Jr., 34, of Orland died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 10:36 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne due to an auto accident in LaGrange County earlier in the evening.

Eddie had worked at area trailer factories. He last worked for Tiden and Bramble in Angola. Most recently he took care of his Grandfather.

He was born December 28, 1977, in Goshen to Gary Edward "Ed" Keck, Sr. and Sandra (Hall) Keck. His parents survive in Orland.

Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Crystal Keck Ramer and Darin Ramer of Kendallville; three nieces, Kelsey Ramer, Melissa Ramer, and Christina Ramer; maternal grandmother, Ruth Hall of Adams Lake; and paternal grandfather, Richard S. Keck, Sr. of Wolcottville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur B. Hall; and paternal grandmothers, MaDonna Keene and Barbara Keck.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Rev. James Tews of Messiah Lutheran Church, Wolcottville officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Calling is Monday, July 23, 2012, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the LaGrange County Animal Shelter.
