Obituary

Gary W. Fuleki, 68, of Rome City died Friday, November 8, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born November 1, 1951, in Fort Wayne to Joseph and Helen (McDonald) Fuleki.

On December 15, 1972, he married Marcia A. Rissner. She preceded him in death on August 18, 2009.

Mr. Fuleki moved to Rome City one year ago, coming from Auburn.

He had worked as a mechanic at Smith Enterprises in Angola. He was a member of the Rome City American Legion Post 381, Sons of the Legion.

Gary had a great voice and loved to sing Karoke.

Surviving are three daughters, Dawn Bowman of Kendallville, Carrie (Robert) Acker of Garrett, and Gail (Travis) Smith of New Haven; a son, Christopher (Heather) Fuleki of Wawaka; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Teresa) Fuleki of Poe and Vincent (Karen) Fuleki of Auburn; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Fuleki of Hamilton.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Fuleki and Ronald Fuleki.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Pastor Regan Ford officiating. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.

Calling is Monday, November 11, 2109, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
