Gary D. Boyer, 70, of Stroh, Indiana, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence.

He was born December 3, 1951, in Garrett, Indiana to Gerald Russell "Jack" and Kathleen Wilma (Seng) Boyer.

Mr. Boyer honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He retired from the Fort Wayne Foundry.

Gary enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and listening to older rock and country music, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and listening to his son Matt play the guitar and sing.

Surviving are his sons, Jeremy Boyer of Stroh and Matt Boyer of Stroh; five grandchildren, Justice Page Boyer, Kodie Dale (Kelsey) Boyer, Brianna Marie Boyer, Braiden Paul Boyer, and Olivia Nicole Boyer; two sisters, Cherry Peterson of Fort Wayne and Sue Boyer of Tennessee; and a brother, Philip (Diana) Boyer of Wolcottville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Jackie Sobasky.

There will be no services or visitation.
