Gabrielle Elissa "Gabi" (Skaggs) Lehman, 37, of Ligonier, Indiana, died Monday, June 27, 2022, in Garrett, Kentucky. She was born February 16, 1985, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Tony L. Skaggs and Kitty S. Skaggs Hasse. She worked as a CNA in Kentucky and had formerly worked at Keystone and Forest River, both in Goshen. Gabi was a tattoo artist who enjoyed drawing. She enjoyed working, especially with her hands doing light carpentry work. She dearly loved her boys. Surviving are two boys, Dallas Bradley Lehman of Cromwell and Justice Maverick Lehman of Cromwell; her father, Tony L. Skaggs of Brimfield; her mother, Kitty Hasse of Syracuse; a brother, Tony J. Skaggs of Brimfield; a sister, Kursty L. Fugate of Topeka; and eight nieces and nephews, Skylar Skaggs, Gracie Fugate, Kitty Glick, T.J. Fugate, Chance Fugate, Brayden Skaggs, Kaydence Skaggs, and Zayden Skaggs. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Freedom Baptist Church, 300 Sycamore Street, LaGrange. Gabi's funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Wade Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City. Pallbearers are Dallas Lehman, Justice Lehman, Tony L. Skaggs, Tony J. Skaggs, Denver Skaggs, and Brayden Skaggs. Preferred memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
