Frieda Mullins, 101, of Avilla and formerly of Stroh died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. in Provena Sacred Heart Home where she had resided for the past seven years.

She moved to this area in 1953 from Kentucky. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Mullins was a member of the Stroh United Baptist Church in Stroh.

She was born August 9, 1910, in Hindman, Kentucky, to D.L. "Doc" and Cynthia (Ritchie) Fuller. She was married to Ottis Sizemore. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1963. She then married Chester Mullins. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1988.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Lola Conley of Wolcottville and Cynthia and Kenneth Rowlison of Kendallville; a son Moris Lee Sizemore of Big Turkey Lake; a daughter-in-law, Ruby Sizemore of LaGrange; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, William Sizemore, a son-in-law, Lotchie Conley, nine brothers and sisters, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Rev. Willie Collins and Rev. Leburn Combs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Calling is Friday, January 27, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Mount Calvary Baptist Church or Stroh United Baptist Church.
