Calling: Wednesday, July 24, 2013 - 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church *************************************************************************** Frederick D. Sturdivant, Jr., 6 weeks, of Goshen died Friday, July 19, 2013, at 12:21 p.m. in I.U. Health Goshen Hospital.

He was born June 3, 2013, in Goshen to Frederick D. Sturdivant and Sherie Shalley. His father preceded him in death on March 28, 2013. His mother survives in Goshen.

Also surviving are his sister, Maci Shalley, at home; maternal grandparents, Rita Shalley, of Goshen and Ray Clark of Goshen; maternal step grandfather, David Moles of Goshen; paternal grandparents, Frederick E. and Dee Dee Sturdivant, of LaGrange and Angela and Troy Hedges of Middlebury; maternal great-grandparents, Reedy and Shirley Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky; paternal great-grandparents, Lois Wertz of Rome City and Frank Sturdivant, Sr. and Shirley Sturdivant of Rome City; maternal step great-grandparents, John and Jan Diller of Fort Wayne and Gordon Jordan of Rome City; maternal great great-grandmother, Hilzie Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky; uncles, Cyrus Clark and Dillon Hall; and aunts, Cynthia and Kurtis Coleman and Chelsea Sturdivant-Martin and Nate Martin.

He was also preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Ora D. Wertz, and an uncle, Jimmy Hall.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Five Corners Baptist Church, Wolcottville with Rev. Clarence Combs officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery.

Calling is Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church.
