Floyd David Rouch, 63, of Kendallville died Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the home of his sister, Cheryl.
He was a lifetime area resident who was an avid outdoorsman. He shared his love and knowledge of hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening with his family and those close to him.
Following in his father's footsteps, Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1971-1975.
Mr. Rouch was a foundry worker, having worked for most of the local foundries.
He was born September 2, 1953, in Kendallville to Gerald and Marjorie (Wentworth) Rouch.
Surviving are a daughter, Sophia (Judd) Foster of Seymour; four sons, John (Brandi) Rouch of Kendallville, Kevin (Christina) Rouch of Kendallville, Paul (Kelli) Rouch of Garrett, and Stephen Rouch of Kendallville; ten grandchildren, Draik Rouch, Samantha Foster, Ellie Rouch, Reese Rouch, Alex Foster, Easton Rouch, Lucas Rouch, Leah Rouch, Parker Rouch, and Beckett Rouch; two sisters, Cheryl Hart of Kendallville and Jennifer (Kurt) Huffman of Kendallville; and a brother, Randy Rouch of Albion.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Greg Ernsberger.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the Kendallville VFW Post 2749, 127 Veterans Way, Kendallville. A gathering of family and friends will follow until 7 p.m.
Honor guard services will be provided by Kendallville VFW Post 2749, Rome City American Legion Post 341, Kendallville American Legion Post 86, and active duty members of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Preferred memorials are to Kendallville VFW Post 2749.
