Obituary

Floyd E. "Bud" Reith, 93, of Kendallville went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 16, 2019 at North Woods Village in Fort Wayne.

He was born, March 29, 1926 in Kendallville to Floyd L. and Estella F. (Bertch) Reith.

On September 2, 1945 in Portland, Indiana he married Donna C. Smith. She preceded him in death on November 26, 2008.

Mr. Reith was a conductor for the B & O Railroad for 37 years.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.

Bud enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, which were his pride and joy. He held steadfast to the belief that grace through faith is how we get to Heaven and he instilled that belief in his family.

Surviving are a son, Steve and Nancy Reith of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Holly and David Langwell of Kendallville and Sally and Fritz Albright of Zionsville; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Moore and Helen I. Mountz.

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville with Pastor Philip Rigdon of St. John Lutheran Church officiating.

Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran School.
