Obituary

Floyd Lee Barrand, 72, of Angola died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 10:30 p.m. in Cameron Hospital in Angola.

He had lived in Angola for five years, coming from Auburn.

Mr. Barrand worked at Auburn Gear, now Warner Gear, for 39 years before retiring in 2007.

He was born December 30, 1943, in Fort Wayne to Howard and Geneveve (Freeman) Barrand.

Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (Tracy Ball) Barrand of Auburn, Brenda (Craig) Barrand of Beaufort, North Carolina, and Michelle (Jefferson "Daniel") Graham of Butler; 12 grandchildren, Adam (Tabitha) Fell, Tammy (David) Goble, Dakota (Teyana) Fell, Jesse Fell, Dustin (Keesha) Fell, Justin (Tara) Fell, Jessica Barrand, Destiny Barrand, Joe Fell, Amanda Fell, Lisa (Shane) Cox, and William (Samantha) Ferry; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Barrand; his mother, Geneveve Pepple; his stepfather, Robert Pepple; and two sisters, Dorcas Cartwright and Barbara Pepple.

There will be no services or calling.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
