Obituary

Eva Polly, 68, of Wolcottville died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne after a sudden illness.

Mrs. Polly retired from Superior Samples in Ligonier. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and hunting mushrooms.

She was born December 5, 1939, in Briathitt, Kentucky, to Curtis and Lillie (McDaniels) Noble. On June 24, 1961, in Brighton, Indiana,she married Joe "Buster" Polly. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2004.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Mona Polly of Lawrenceburg, Roger and Judy Polly of Middlebury, and Roedonald and Shellie Polly of Kendallville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Rick Shafer of LaGrange, Rebecca and Carlos Sparkman of Garrett, and Renita and Rich Bucholtz of Jones, Michigan; 11 grandchilren, three great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawton and Gail Noble of Vest, Kentucky and Tommy and Letha Noble of Ogden, Kentucky; and four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Francis Keith of Ocala, Florida, Betty and Bradley Amburgey of Ocala, Florida, Patricia and Russ Moberly of Carrie, Kentucky, and Jessie and Tom Watts of Carrie, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Noble, and one brother.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 14, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Community Baptist Church, Wolcottville, with Pastor Lee Combs officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville. Casketbearers will be Doug Stewart, Dan Calhoun, Gary Masters, Eric Lower, Derek Lower, Mark Webster, Eric Riesdorph, and Josh Gerzmehle.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2008, after 2 p.m. at the church. Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
