Obituary

Eva M. Martin, 61, of Garrett died Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 6:50 p.m. in Miller's Merry Manor, Garrett.

She was a homemaker, and attended the Church at Garrett.

She had resided at Miller's Merry Manor for 20 years.

Eva was born September 5, 1954, in Garrett to Robert and Linda (Sawyer) Woodward.

She married Max N. Martin, and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2002.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Martin of Garrett; a stepdaughter, Carolyn (Tom) Mortimore of Kendallville; two stepsons, Larry (Betty) Martin of Ligonier and Kenneth (Lois) Martin of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Makayla Saucedo and Max Leins; ten step-grandchildren, Bobby, Tab, Dawn, Tina, Mike, Lori, Christine, Brian, Tonya, and Tara; two sisters, Joyce (Robert) Bishop of Auburn and Nila Talbot of St. Joe, Michigan; and three brothers, Robert (Dorlis) Woodward of Auburn, Mike (Valerie) Woodward of Ashley, and Joe (Ann) Woodward of Garrett.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Woodward; a stepson, Charles Martin; and a step-granddaughter, Lisa.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson of the Church at Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Monday, November 23, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
