EVA M. DONLEY, 87, of Albion died Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 2:35 p.m. at the Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler. She had been in failing health since April.
Mrs. Donley was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, raising melons, working in her garden, and crocheting.
She was born October 5, 1920, in Green Township, Noble County, Indiana, to Carl and Bess (Fisher) Hoffman. On March 5, 1937, in Albion she married Kenneth Donley. He preceded her in death in March, 1977.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Max E. Hill of Albion; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Charlene Donley of Fort Wayne; a sister, Garnet Stephens of Hartford City; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Donley, a grandson, Randy J. Hill, four sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 6, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Rev. G. Scott Pattison of Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery
Calling will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
