Obituary

Eva May Bailey, 63, of Corunna died Monday, June 17, 2019, at 6 a.m. at her residence.

She was born August 12, 1955, in Hastings, Michigan, to Duey and Alberta (Prater) Bailey.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her loving partner, John Carson of Corunna; a daughter, Jamie (Dustan Shipe) Carson of Butler; three sons, Ronald Adair of Ionia, Michigan, Jason Carson of Kenova, West Virginia, and George (Kim Silvernail) Wease of Muir, Michigan; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, two sisters, Ann Potter of Bay City, Michigan and Anita Bailey of Hudson; a brother, Alkie Bailey of Belding, Michigan; and her beloved dogs, Selina and Gizzmo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Amy Cox.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Chaplain Ken Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Corunna Cemetery.

Calling is Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
