Obituary

Eula Faye (Everage) Conley, 65, of Wolcottville died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 6 a.m. in her residence.

She was born November 2, 1946, in Hindman, Kentucky, to Joe Everage, Jr. and Margrette "Alpha" (Risner) Everage.

She graduated from Hindman High School in 1964.

She married J.P. Conley on July 6, 1965, in Clintwood, Virginia. She was a homemaker for most of their marriage, but upon returning to Indiana in 1988, she worked for Kidd's Marshmallow in Ligonier and Starcraft and Nisco, both in Topeka.

While still living in Kentucky, she was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose of Sharon Chapter and the Montgomery Baptist Church.

She was an avid reader and loved crafts, crocheting, and sewing. She loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters.

Left on this earth to mourn her passing are her husband, J.P. Conley; one daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Clayton "Butch" Emmons; and two granddaughters, Jaylyn Faith Emmons and Carissa Jo Emmons.

Also mourning Faye are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nina and Lester Hicks of Hindman, Kentucky, and Jean and Ronnie Everage of Hindman, Kentucky. She also leaves her niece and her husband, Amy and Robert Hendrickson and their baby boy, Chayse of Hindman, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Leslie Ann Hicks.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Rev. Ron Bell, Rev. Dale Hicks, and Rev. Carl Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery, Topeka.

Calling is Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to IU Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
