Obituary

Emma Lou Stidham, 74, of Rome City died Friday, November 16, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born November 6, 1944, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Estil and Ruby (Prater) Ritchie.

Mrs. Stidham had lived most of her life in this area, coming from Kentucky.

She was a housewife, mother, and grandmother.

Emma Lou attended Hilltop Baptist Church in Rome City.

Surviving are two sons, Gary (Dawn Lieber) Stidham of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Terry (Chris) Stidham of Millersburg; three grandchildren, Josh Stidham, Austin Stidham, and Taylor Stidham; three sisters, Glenna (Dean) Johnston of Syracuse, Brenda (Junior) Hicks of Rome City, and Bev (Jesse) Dunlap of Ligonier; and three brothers, Junior Lee (Dorothy) Ritchie of Rome City, Jimmy (Judy) Ritchie of Wolcottville, and Billy Joe (Claudette) Ritchie of Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris Stidham; and three brothers, Floyd Ritchie, Aaron Ritchie, and Eugene Ritchie.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 19, 2018, at 5 p.m.at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 E. US 6, Kendallville with Rev. Larry Anglemyer, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky.

Pallbearers are Gary Stidham, Terry Stidham, Austin Stidham, Josh Stidham, Curtis Hicks, and Dustin Hicks.

Calling is Monday, November 19 , 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials may be made to Hilltop Baptist Church or Bethel Christian Baptist Church.
