Obituary

No Services or Viewing *************************************************************************************** Elsie M. Barrett, 85 of Blackman Lake and formerly of Mason, Michigan, died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 9:15 p.m. in her residence.

She had worked at John Henry Printing Company in Lansing, Michigan for 18 years.

Mrs. Barrett attended West Columbia Nazarene Church in Mason.

Elsie was born January 29, 1930, in Traverse City, Michiga,n to Julius B. and Hazel L. (Brooks) Lake.

She married William Barrett in 1959 in Traverse City. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Jacobs of Wolcottville; two sons, James B. Wood of Florida and Robert G. Wood of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Becker of Traverse City.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters.

There will be no services.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
