Obituary

Elizabeth K. Roy, 96, of Kendallville died Friday, August 29, 2008, at 3:25 p.m. in Shepherd of the Hill Nursing Home, Kendallville, where she had resided for the past three years.

Mrs. Roy moved to Kendallville in 2002 from Idaho. She had worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. She studied classical piano at the University of Indianapolis School of Music, and traveled extensively across the United States having lived from New York City to Anchorage, Alaska.

She was born March 9, 1912, in El Paso, Texas, to Frederick Charles and Florence (Cox) Knollenberg. She married Robert H. Roy, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Tom Greenfield of Corunna; three granddaughters, Carolyn Rushing, Cammy Roy and Stacy Roy; and two great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Roy.

There will be no visitation or services.
