Obituary

Elizabeth Ellen Reid, 89, of Kendallville and formerly of South Milford died Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.

She was born October 2, 1929, in Leamington, Ontario, Canada, to William and Mary (Seagrave) Taylor.

On August 25, 1950, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, she married James Reid. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1998.

Mrs. Reid had worked at Kraft Foods in Kendallville for 11 years and owned and operated a cake designing business for many years.

She was a member of the Kendallville Church of Christ.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Chuck Kohout) Reid of Kendallville; two sons, Mark (Diana) Reid of Kendallville, and Jeff (Mindy) Reid of Orland; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Reid and Bill Reid; and two brothers, William Taylor and James Taylor.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Steve Altman officiating.

Calling is Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Kendallville Church of Christ.
