Obituary

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Girolami, 93, of Citrus Hill/Hernando, Florida, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Florida. She had been ailing for almost a year. Her passing was quiet and without pain.

She was born on March 30, 1925, in Rock Fork, Kentucky.

Mrs. Girolami was employed by the A&P Tea Company for 26 years, retiring in 1976.

Lizzie was a resident of the Miami Valley Area in Butler County, Ohio, for over 50 years. She was educated in Garrett, Kentucky.

She is survived by her daughter, Vedah M. (Samuel) Bolen-Barnes of Citrus Hills/Hernando, Florida; two sisters, Gwen (Larry) Cox-Pant of Kendallville and Anne (Monte) Conley of Kendallville; a brother, Melvin (Marge) Cox of Huntington; four grandchildren, Charles (Margie) Robison of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Sandra (Vinny) Grippi of Hampshire, Tennessee, Patrick (Susan) Robison of Inverness, Florida, and David (Crystal) Barnes of Hernando, Florida; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands: Clyde Bolen, Henry Hall, and Louis G. Girolami.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Sam Weimer of the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Rehobeth Cemetery, Albion.

Honorary pallbearer is Sterling Cox. Active pallbearers are Robert J. Childers, Brian Childers, Robert Conley, Ty Allen Pant, Lucas Pant, and Charles Dumegie.

Calling is Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
