Obituary

Elita M. Day, 53, of Kendallville died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, in her residence.

Ms. Day had lived most of her life in Kendallville. She was a factory worker, and had worked for 35 years in the same building.

She was born March 8, 1957, in Angola to Charles William and Arnell J. (Hollinger) Day.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Day and Jeremy Day both of Kendallville; three grandchildren, Skyla A. Day, Logan A. Day, and Wyette G. Day; her mother, Arnell J. Day of Kendallville; two brothers, David W. Day of LaGrange and Larry Day of Angola.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Day and her stepfather, Lester D. Acker.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
