Calling: Friday, June 13, 2014 - 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel ************************************************************************************* Edward D Meyers, 78, of LaGrange died Monday, June 9, 2014, at 3:17 p.m. in his residence following a lengthy illness.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army.

He was born June 25, 1935, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

On May 20, 1959, he married Mary A. (Hempstead) Meyers. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2012.

Surviving are five daughters, Deborah Dinkleman of Goshen, Donna Tibbits of Wolcottville, Pam (Jesus) Sanchez of Cromwell, Kim (Ted) Palmer of Howe, and Trinket Meyers of Columbia City; one son, Edward D. Meyers of LaGrange; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Meyers of Conneaut, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by a son, George Meyers; two sisters; four brothers; a son-in-law, Doug Tibbits; and a nephew, Nick Yujevich.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion. Military graveside services will be provided by the U.S. Army.

Calling will be Friday, June 13, 2014, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
