Edna Marie Russell, 54, of Bronson, Michigan, died Wednesday April 10, 2024, at the home of her sister near Wolcottville, Indiana, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 9, 1969, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Dale and Linda (Fuller) Caywood. Her parents survive in Wolcottville.

On February 26, 2016, in LaGrange she married Robert Leon Russell. He survives in Bronson, Michigan.

She had been employed by KZ RV in Shipshewana.

Edna enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, tending to her flower beds, and collecting shot glasses. But most importantly, she dearly loved being with her grandchildren.

Also surviving are her children, Zachary Case of Wolcottville, Brandon (Emilee Treesh) Case of Howe; Amber Case of Kendallville, Keera Nelson of LaGrange, Robby (Stephanie) Russell of Montgomery, Michigan, Rodney Russell of Jackson, Michigan, Roxanna (James) Carpenter of Sturgis, Michigan, Raquel Russell of Indiana, Kaitlyn Carney of Muskegon, Michigan, and Raelynn Russell of Jackson, Michigan; 27 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three sisters, Wanda Sue (Mark) Miller of Wolcottville, Debra (Steve) Deetz of Auburn, and Carla Combs of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Craig Nelson; a brother, Jeff Caywood; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wade Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow at Ontario Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Zach Case, Brandon Case, Robby Russell, James Carpenter, Mark Miller, and Bill Madden.
