Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 1 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel.

Calling is Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday. ************************************************************************************** Edna Osborn, 96, of Kendallville died Monday, January 12, 2015, at 8:55 a.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville where she had resided for the last five years.

She was a homemaker

Mrs. Osborn was a member of Harbor of Love Baptist Church in Kendallville.

She was born November 18, 1918, in Mousie, Kentucky to Troy and Rachel (Tuttle) Sparkman.

Surviving are three daughters, Wanda Pierson of Rome City, Lora (Larry) Kurtz of Orland, and Connie (Larry) Warnock of Huntington; two sons, Ronnie (Shirley) Wallen of Kendallville and Don (Patti) McDaniel of Lincolnton, North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and numerous great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Wallen; two grandsons; four sisters, Lori Martin, Melda Hicks, Dolly Cox, and Jean Booth; and six brothers, Herman Sparkman, Nathaniel Sparkman, Kermit Sparkman, Vernon Sparkman, Willie Sparkman, and Lee Sparkman.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 1 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with the Rev. Charlie Mosley of Harbor of Love Baptist Church in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Calling is Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Preferred memorials are to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
