Edna E. "Eddie" Lundy, 94, of Kendallville passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 8:45 a.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville where she had resided since February, 2000.
Mrs. Lundy was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Kendallville High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Midwestern Magnesium, Kendallville Foundry, and retired from Flint & Walling.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avilla.
She was born January 7, 1917, in Kendallville to Howard B. and Ella E. (Sager) Jennings. On October 23, 1937, in Kendallville she married Mason C. "Bob" Lundy. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1979.
Surviving are four daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Jacobs of Kendallville, Florence Smart of Sebring, Florida, Patricia Jacob of Albion, and Pamela and Richard Howell of Kendallville; 13 grandchildren, Raymond (Connie) Gulick, Jr. of Kendallville, Robert (Donna) Gulick of Avilla, Jerry Longbrake of Sebring, Florida, Christine (Dennis) Fleck of Kendallville, Melissa King of Albion, Trent Howell of Kendallville, Tyler Howell of Kendallville, Cherie (Joe) Hawkins of Florida, Ryan King of Wolcottville, Randy King, Rachel Myers of Albion, Janet (Scott) Rashley of Delta, Ohio, and Annie Adams of Kendallville; 20 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Willard "Jess" Jennings; and two granddaughters, Cynthia King and Jennie Longbrake Akers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 113 West Albion Street, Avilla, with Rev. Thomas Dunbar and Rev. Dean Bearman officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Chapel Cemetery in LaGrange County.
Calling is Monday, May 23, 2011, from 3 to 7 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Preferred memorials are to the Shepherd Shop at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.
