Obituary

Eddie Dwayne Slone, 19, of Wolcottville, died Friday, November 2, 2007, at 9:30 p.m. as the result of an auto accident at the intersection of 1200 N and Angling Road, north of Kendallville.

Eddie was a 2007 graduate of Lakeland High School. He had resided most of his life in Wolcottville.

He was born October 10, 1988, in Martin Kentucky, to Jimmy and Carol (Slone) Huff. His parents survive in Wolcottville. Also surviving are a sister, Samantha Leann Huff of Wolcottville; a brother, Johnathon Slone of Wolcottville; his paternal grandmother, Sadie Huff of Garrett; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Vallis Huff and Lovella Johnson-Bolen and a grandfather, Johnny Slone.

Services will be Friday, November 9th, at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, 2900 E 1150 N, Wolcottville with Pastor Earl Rose officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7th, after 2 p.m. and all day Thursday, November 8th, at the church with a service at 7 p.m. both evenings. Preferred memorials are to the family, and may be sent to Young Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 341, Wolcottville, IN 46795.
