DurInda Rae Scheurich, 60, of Wolcottville, Indiana died Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 19, 1964, in Kendallville to Dan D. and Sharon A. (Hawk) Bordner.

She married Terry Lee Scheurich. He survives in Wolcottville.

DurInda was a QMA, CNA, and Phlebotomist at Orchard Pointe Heath Campus in Kendallville.

She enjoyed participating in triathlons, including Fort4Fitness, snowmobiling, camping, boating, and photography.

Also surviving are three children, Dillon Scheurich, DaKesha (Zach) Straw, and LaTasha (Andrew) Schaefer; six grandchildren, Zain Straw, Kamaron Straw, Olivia Straw, Emma Scheurich, Kade Scheurich and LaTaya Schaefer; her mother, Sharon Bordner of Fort Wayne; a sister, DawnNita Fulk of Huntertown; and a brother, Dan (Deb) Bordner of Silver Lake.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Bordner; a granddaughter, LaElah Schaefer; her father-in-law and mother-in law, Marion and Ruby (Wicker) Scheurich; and a nephew, Phillip Watts.

A memorial service at the family home will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
